The SRS label on my passenger side sun visor was deteriorating and shedding white vinyl bits ALL over my interior, especially when driving at speed with the windows open. A quick search and they don't sell the label separately, and older JDM visors are expensive. So I just made new labels!
Found a good quality image of the SRS label online, fed it into google translate to get the text character for character, then took the dimensions and mocked up a replacement over the original image in photoshop. Only took me a few hours. Sent it off to a printing company and choose to have it die-cut on a matte vinyl with permanent adhesive. I ordered 30 as the price / unit dropped off pretty substantially, and I figure some of you might want one of these as well. So let me know if any of you want one of these. I don't want to make a profit but I will ask that you cover shipping.
Anyways, the labels arrived in the post today and turned out fantastic. I made them about 1mm wider on every side than the OEM label to ensure full coverage. I took off my visor (Torx size 25 bit if you're curious), hit the label with a nylon brush and the old decal just disintegrated little white chunks everywhere! Very glad I did that part over the sink. A quick rub down with alcohol and the new label went on smooth as can be! Looks SO much better now AND I don't have to keep cleaning white crap out of my car).gif)
Anyways, here's the photo gallery! It's the little things, isn't it?
