EK9 Racecar

Another thing is the battey voltage isnt the greatest. Which may be a culprit?
Cant remember off my head but its lower than youd expect, so add load to that aswell...

Shouldn't be pulling fuel out though very strange.
Silly question, Did you calibrate tps?

Just looked at mine
13.58V @ WOT
14.06V @ idle

I've got 99 problems but boost ain't one lol

Thanks for the input guys.
It's a rywire harness it was supplied by Romain when he first mapped my car.
And yes it does turn 180 on itself, that's just how romain installed the Ecu, should it not be like that?
Was that not a brand new exhaust dude? Hangers should not be falling off at any point let alone a few months later! Also the flanges look like they are starting rust! Do you know what material they used?
It is an new exhaust but to be fair it was a cheap job using low quality stainless steel, the hanger fell off due to a poorly placed hanger. It's not the pretty but does the job. 91db static.
I've re-welded all the hangers now so it should be fine.
I won't be winning any show and shines though lol

Hi Mike,
Yeh I calibrated the TPS several times on Hondata under parameters? And used 2 different TPS's.

The voltage issue is a problem but I should have that fixed by tomorrow

Just checked battery and thats fine now?
14.35 cruising about and 13.87 wot.
Eld is disabled in the software but shows 3.5v on the logs

Interesting mine is disabled and shows 0.02V.
Is wideband datalogging using ELD pinout?

No thats using the stock 02 sensor pin.
D14

Just checked mine. ELD is 0.00V so something is up with that

Certainly is a strong clue id say

Do we think we'd see any negative effects from simply cutting the ELD wire for a test run?

I'm not sure about that. In theory if it's disabled shouldn't effect anything.
Not sure if a bad earth or damaged wire would cause ELD to pull voltage worth checking though.
I would say as a last resort try cutting it.

Thanks guys really appreciate it!
I'll be sorting a few things in the days to come and will have another log later in the week.

Love the car mate hope you solve your niggly problem im sure jesse aka the mad scientist it will get sorted

Thanks man, I haven't posted for a little while lol I have been getting somewhere with the fault but it's still there.
Starting to bug me tbh!

Little update, car now has an MoT.
Still have a TPS related problem that I can't get to the bottom of. Tried everything and now my wiring loom looks like a rats nest.
Starting to loose faith in the car.

Any ideas anyone? To cut a long story short,
What happens is at Wot on boost the Tps trace will drop to around 80% or at its worst 0%, this happens for approx 100ms which makes the injector signal drop a bit but boost remains constant, which makes the mixture lean and I then hit a lean protection.
I can't carry on with the build until this is fixed, I've re wired the Tps, new TPS, re scaled the Tps 1000 times, ecu wiring, relocated the battery to the engine bay to rule out any earthing faults, new alternator new battery the list goes on.

Just at my wits end with it guys so any input would be appreciated.

You've tried everything I would, the only other thing I could suggest is trying a different ecu maybe? Have you wired the TPS directly to the ecu yet to cut out all the loom?
