TEGIWA ALUMINIUM ALLOY WHEEL LUG NUTS LOCKING

The nuts themselves are fine but the locking nut that came with them doesn't even fit onto the wheel nut! tried to save myself some money buying these over Rays bu ti think ive made a mistake :(

Edited for me being stupid and not realising 4 are locking nuts

personally I'd stay away from alu wheel nuts regardless of the brand.

I had a set of them, the colour faded after two weeks and they strip really easily

You'd better get steel nuts from emperor.

I have Trust Greddy aluminium nuts but the material is not made for strong and severals manipulations. I wait for the steel nuts to arrive.

acid wheel cleaner strips the colour off alu nuts handy.. if theyr fading without any kind of an acid cleaner they must be very bad quality,

Yeah think ill just wait until after Christmas and invest in some decent ones.

Ehhh buy cheap buy twice i guess, still.. Annoying that it's past the return period but the locking nut doesn't even fit!!

£60 wasted :thanks: Tegiwa

It's p*ss poor, tried to save myself some money buying these over Rays bu ti think ive made a mistake :(

Am i missing something here or are they really poor quality?

I bought a MC stopper from them and that was terribley made aswell. There is no way i would trust my wheels being held on by tegiwa lug nuts!!!

Ive learnt just to pay the bit extra and not have to worry, they are MORE for a reason!

get some pictures up!

Il upload some pictures tonight, the fitment is shockingly poor!!

Will never use aluminium wheel nuts again

Wow that picture of the D1 nuts is crazy! :wow:
The set of D1's i had on my teg when i bought it were rounded and stripped.
Gone back to steel nuts now, safer and alot less hassle

I'm using blox alu nuts, in my opion very good and look well, I'm not big on the brand blox as iv heard a lot of the parts arnt the greatest. Iv had the nuts on and off bout 5 times soo far and are very strong and no fading what's soo ever.

Wow im never buying Aluminium nuts again! I have some muteki steel ones on at the moment they are rusting though so will now invest in some rays!

Pics......

tried with all of the lug nuts and the locking nut is completely wrong size!

I've got 20 Tegiwa alu nuts home, they were on the car when I bought it. I replaced them with oem steel nuts and I am glad I did so, they are so bad I would not even sell them on or give to anyone for free... Wheel nuts are not something you should try to save weight on! Unless you can afford to go titanium I guess.

A Porsche 944 I have has Ali wheel nuts as standard and they have been fine since 1982 so they can be ok if the right grade is used. Tegiwank have there stuff made in china so it is any old **** aluminium from our scrap etc

True statement. If your wheel comes off, your fooked! Don't be skimpy on spending money for things that are necessary for your safety!

On a side note, like your avatar NeilEk9 :)
