Hi,
Yesterday i posted my car on the dc5 forum (Honda Integra Type R Owners Website) and have had few offers on p/x plus money their way. o_O
One of the few that has offered is Honda Integra Type R :: Log in and i must say, the temptation is growing.
Have had a few people recently on the CTR, ITR and Ek9 forum asking if the 9 is for sale.... however this, even though it is modded, is most tempting.
Opinions
cheers

Thats a nice 5, some tasteful mods too, maybe get a testdrive to make up your mind?

i've driven the dc5 before i decided to buy my 9, and to be honest, i was a little dissapointed with the drving feeback.its a very beautiful car, however the drive is much less involving :(.
thanks for your feedback though hiatch. iwish i could have both tbh :)
it is a very well modded one though

If you find the drive less involving then you would regret it I think. However a test drive of that modded one maybe different? Whats your reason behind possibly looking m8?

looks nice...but i have met a couple of people in the last few months who have owned DC5s and sold them as they thought the ek9 was a much better drivers car .

id be tempted though if i wanted something slightly more sensible.lol

exactly my point andy. its not the power that attracts, is only the fact of maturity and modern etc...the stock dc5s were really boring and a little dissapointing when i test drove them b4 i bought my 9. i chose the 9 over the ep3, dc5 and the dc2.
this p/x one looks nice though.. very tempting, but have made my decision to keep my 9. too much time effort spent ... and its my dream R :)

Wouldn't even consider a DC5 after my 9. Not doubting they look good and the awesome K20, well is just awesome.

The 9 is just my preference. More raw and as said already, more of a drivers car.

Just get a EK with a B18. You could have the best of both worlds!

very true!

hmm, stock DC5 is much more insulated, so you don't get as much feedback than a 9 or DC2. The old type Rs were too hardcore, so the new ones gained weight and a K20A :D

For a drivers car, you can't go pass a DC2R , EK9 is like a diluted DC2R because of the engine.

But really, if you guys are talking about stock cars, then Dc2 or Ek9 will suit you. But they can't compare to the potential of the DC5 when it comes to modding and racing. The chassis is 110% stiffer than the DC2R.
