right where do I start this has taken me a long time to do and get parts for buying 1 part each month for over a year
So I've had big power jdm cars before and my last car was a Nissan skyline r33gtst, 2.5 running 360bhp, with not much mods but I sold that and got an 2007 Audi a4tdi which I still have after 3 years of ownership, , and i go to York raceway to watch the drag racing and it made me wanna get bck to having a toy, so I decided to buy a civic after seeing a tonne of vids on YouTube so I found a 2000 plate ej9 1.4 for £100 I, next was to decide on what engine to use b16 or b18 or k20'so I went with b18c4 with 65k miles on it, full conversation gearbox is a s9b or b9 drive shafts etc,
Next I wanted to know what ecu to use p28 or p30 so I went with a p28 socketed ecu, manifold I went for a ram horn style with 38 mm external wastegate,

TURBO CHOICE now I had a Borg Warner s256 in the garage and was going to use that but I decided to use a holset hx35, rated to 500-600 bhp with a bonnet style exhaust pipe 3"

FUELING, I've fitted a AEM 340lph fuel pump, with AEMfuel rail and Siemens deka 875cc fuel injectors
clutch I've fitted a stage 3 6 pad paddle clutch

Cooling I've gone with oversized FMIC, with hand made pipe work to fit, blue silicone joint hoses, alloy rad,

Wheels well I'm gunna be running the same tyres n rims that to see in the pics until I buy some road legal slicks, with 13" rims
The paint work wasn't the best so I painted in in the drive with cans of Matt black paint,

The power is currently a 350bhp but power is restricted as the wastegate is creeping boost at 7000rpm and is too small so need to get a bigger wastegate and 3bar map sensor, and I should be pushing well over 400bhp so enjoy the pics and no nasty comment lol.........

If you can weld id possibly look into how the wastegate merges with the manifold more than the issue being strictly the size of it. Boost creep is pretty common on a turbo vtec.
Did you get a graph when you tuned the car? Be cool to see.

Yes that what the tuner said to me about it so I'm gunna get a bigger wastegate n fit that then 3bar map sensor as the one on eBay was supposed to be a 3bar and turns out its stock the robbing t#%t, but at the mo 350bhp is ok and it's bloody quick revs goes well past the dials, so I've got less than £2000 in this car so can't wait to take it down the strip at York raceway

Well done on the build! Look forward to hearing how she does down the drag strip.

Very nice but please get bigger brakes haha
No bigger brakes pal as they won't fit the rims I'm getting remember this car is only for drag racing only it won't be going on the street

Didnt realise you was near me and near york. Anyhow have you got details of your engine build.or is that still stock atm?

Engine is still stock but the power is producing is good for stock internals pal where abouts are you I'm in wakefield

Ah ok im based in pudsey between bradford and leeds. Ive got a crack in my.manifold so was just looking as i have a poopy toyosport one. Not sure if i should get another off the shelf one and hope it lines up and fits or just get a custom proper one but obv at more cost. What manifolds are known to be good replacements for the toyosports ones? Excellent figures though for stock 4 u. Well done. I think thats limit of stock block isnt it? And im guessing u fabbed up screamer youraelf/exhaust thru bonnet

Pudsey? I used to live there of roker lane, the manifold it's a ram horn copy, all I have to do is fit a 3bar map sensor n breather pipes to rocker covers and I will be pushing 400bhp

Tick tick tick!

Great power- but it's a time bomb!

I recon it can survive at 350 if the maps safe enough. Much more and your into ring land territory though.

The lad who mapped it said that that I can manage 400bhp then nothing else if I wanna go higher then time to forge but I will see as money money money is a factor
