Thermal gasket seal?

One of those nylon type thermal gaskets came with my throttle body, does it need hondabond or does it compress slightly to seal?
 
My Hondata Thermo intake manifold gasket used no other sealant, Hondabond or other. And it ran a coolant passage through it, with no problems.
I did however re-torque the IM nuts several times after it had been heat cycled. Eventually they stood up to the factory torque, but took about 2 weeks. So just recheck the torque a few times after the install.
What kind of throttle body did you swoop?
 
It's just a standard DC2 one but it came with the gasket. I've got a normal paper gasket with a set I bought but thought I might as well try it! Thanks for the advice I just fitted it dry in the end hopefully it'll be leak free
