Hi there i was just wandering as to what exhaust systems are ok for a track day ive currently got a spec 2 on a decat and 4-1 mani and it stupid loud lol so i need to no what my options are for systems, only reason as to why im asking is im hoping theres a few track day bods on here that cn give me some advise, thanks, Chris.

my fujitsubo legalis r got on fine
why not try the spoon n1 style that neil set a groub buy on

yes i have been looking at those spoon reps but i fancy a jap style back box.

also its an exhaust system id like to keep on the car maybe..
does anybody have experience on the hks hi power systems?

You will need Fujitsubo RMA01a, Power Getter, HKS Silent Hi Power, Mugen Twin Loop.
Dunx

Go to a decent custom exhaust place and get one made for your needs. It will work out cheaper than buying a jap manufactured exhaust, and you can say to them you want it quiet with this style of box etc etc

I think the oem system is to restrictive and the spoon street is debatable as to weither you will be pulled in the pits on a trackday which I don't want, I think I'll end up taking the hks hi power as I like the style box, thanks for all your help guys.

Spoon street is similar to oem, i think you may have it confused with the spoon n1 :nice:

Not the trendiest of systems but I've always been pretty happy with the blueflame setup on mine. As far as I'm concerned it ticks all the boxes: freeflowing, stainless steel, lightweight, cheap, sounds nice and with my spoon header and decat I've always flown through noise tests at around 93dB.
Only thing I didn't like was the rediculous 4" tailpipe on it, so got that cut off and a 2.5" part welded on instead.

i agree with this. altho my custom exhaust seems to be getting louder with time. it used to fly thro noise tests but at snetterton recently he had to have to go's and it was borderline. make sure you get a good company to do it!!!!

Spoon N1 is too loud for any uk track. No debate.

Spoon street is very quiet, will get on every uk track and barely any more restrictive.

I've used both, you can barely feel the difference. I think the loudness just makes you feel it's making more power.

Blueflame just similar to Mongoose sure they just ghe esxact same. if so, my old mongoose with 4" tail pipe weight a ton!! was mental the eifference in weight to the new spoon system

never the less spoon was fun but i missed the quiet sound from the mongoose

Fine on mine dude. The silencers felt like they had almost nothing in them.
