Having multiple B series manual transmissions laying around, I began thinking of the best way to store these. I'm open to any advice. I thought about 'plugging' the openings (axle openings, VSS, and so on), but wasn't sure if its better to allow it to breathe so condensation doesn't get in, or cap it off? Any ways, thanks for all who reply.

Thanks for the reply. They are in a garage, away from the weather. Three are on their side, and one is laying flat on the transmission matting surface on 2x4's to allow room for the input shaft.

If being left inside and they are dry I'm sure it will be fine to leave the VSS openings open.

Thanks for your input. Wanted to make sure I'm doing the best I can for my parts. Cheers
