hi all,

is anybody running one of these on their nine? afaik they only have them listed for eg and dc.

but i think it should not be an issue to run one on a nine right?

any feedback/experiences would be greatly appreciated!

cheers,

benji

As long as the sandwich is for a b series you will be fine.

I see alot of people running Mocal oil coolers could be a cheaper option than Trust/Greddy

Awesome oil cooler setup, My dad has one on his DC2, quality is also very good between the fittings etc... and comes with braided lines. The only thing I can think of being a minor issue is mounting the radiator as it may be designed to be a direct fit onto an eg/dc chassis. His setup has been on the car for around 40k miles with no issues and a few trackdays in between. On a hot day the temp still exceeded 120 degrees, but rarely rises about that.

Although If I were buying new I would buy mocal/setrab simply because the greddy setup will cost 500-600 new which IMO isn't worth the £400+

^^ thanks for the feedback guys!

kipper pretty much listed all the reasons I want to go with the GREX unit

so you can get the mocal with thermostat as well?

hmmm, the price difference is tempting . . .

Trust/Greddy also comes in thermostatic version. So what are the pros and cons of this exact system?

I've gone for the HEL S2000 kit for mine S2000
A lot cheaper than the rest i have seen

If you are caning the s**t of of your car on the street or track and are seeing 110 degrees plus fit an oil cooler, if not don't bother!!!!!
