Type R shift linkages

Am I right in thinking the dual bend gear stick only fits Type R linkages or are all B series linkage rods the same?

I had bought a buddy club dual bend for my ek9 but it was too narrow at the bottom bearing end for the fork in the linkage even with the spacers.

Hmm guessing most aftermarket shifters are designed for the majority i.e. non R linkages.

Think so mate but my Ali express k tuned shifter fits. You could probably make up spacers to make anything work tho.

I had a skunk 2 shifter on my ek4 sir and that was the same, to narrow for the non type R linkage.
was packed out with a little spacer, I suspect the narrow shifters are made for eg's or dc2's

It was actually the K-tuned shifter I was thinking of buying, if yours fits the Type R then it may be too wide to fit my non R linkages :/ How did you find the Ali express one?

Spot on mate. A friends got one at the garage not fitted yet so could send you some pics. Quality is actually really good
