TypeOne9 - CW 2000 RX

by the way aren't the back lights meant to be lighten up at top and bottom?!

needs the lower rear sidelights re-installed though :nice:

Just check the tail lights aren't holding water as this can be the cause of the lower sidelights not lighting up. I doubt this will be the case as the car looks mint but worth checking as this can be the cause of rust forming :)

Thanks for all the positive comments, really enjoying the car and really conscious to enhance it tastefully!

Okay so over the last few weeks I have been purchasing parts for the EK9 and pursuing a Spoon theme. I've said the 'S' word so many times lately all i'm seeing in my sleep is yellow and blue race cars! The car is now fitted with the following items

Spoon Sports Progressive Springs
Spoon Sports Strut Tower Bar - Front
Spoon Sports Strut Tower Bar - Rear
Spoon Sports Sports Air Cleaner
Spoon Sports Carbon Direct Flow
Spoon Sports Tail Silencer N1
Spoon Sports B16B Yellow Head Cover
Spoon Sports Carbon Plug Cover
Spoon Sports Oil Filler Cap
Spoon Sports Baffled Oil Pan
Spoon Sports High Tension Leads
Spoon Sports Radiator Cap
Spoon Sports Shift Knob - Duracon 5speed
Spoon Sports Reservoir Tank Cover Set
Spoon Sports Magnetic Drain Bolt Set
Spoon Sports Racing Plug Set no 24
Spoon Sports Type One Mark Sticker
Spoon Sports Mark Sticker Set

Many thanks to Opie Oils and my mechanic James as today the car has had a complete fluid change-out which allowed the Baffled Oil Sump and Magnetic Bolt Set to be fitted, I have used the following fluids

Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40 Ester Synthetic Engine Oil
Motul RBF 600 Factory Line racing brake fluid
Motul INUGEL OPTIMAL Coolant
Amsoil Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid MTF

The combination of new oil(s) new ignition system, and the intake & exhaust mods should see the car breathing a bit better and running just how I want it to. Here's a few pictures to show you the engine bay as it stands, and the fitment of the N1 Silencer

Is this 9 for sale? it's up on pistonheads being sold by 'agents acting on behalf of the client'

Stunning 9 you got there! You've detailed it yourself? Keep up that passion :)

Lovely example mate, no harm in speccing it with Spoon parts haha! Keep her clean :nice:

We supplied all the spoon parts to Greg for this, great customer :) Shame he has now sold the car on :(

I bought the car off Greg last weekend, really couldn't have got it off a nicer chap! Will have to start my own thread once I bring my DSLR back from work :)

Adam Ivell '6TWO1' was fantastic throughout building this car, I really was going to buy the whole catalogue. Truth is I simply can't have a house, RX7 and EK9 all at the same time! Car couldn't have gone to a better person, i'm sure he'll finish what I started...
