Yokohama AD08R are hard to beat as an all rounder and still quite good in the wet

There are slightly better tyres for wet weather but they wouldn’t compare to the AD08R on the track

You mentioned “a bit of racing” ?

They are mainly designed for road use anyway and IMO better than a lot of good road tyres

Other good options would be Goodyear Eagle F1, Michelin Pilot sport etc

Of all the tyres I’ve ever run ad08’s have been the best compromise for day to day wet/dry conditions and a bit of ‘fast road’ when you fancy it.

I’ve got Eagle F1’s on my ep3 and they are pretty good too, I’ve given it a fair bit of abuse over the last 3k and they’ve hardly warn at all.

Michellin Pilot Sport 3’s are also very good although seem to have gone up in price a lot since the pound shat itself

I've had AD08s, Michelin pilot sport and eagle f1s. For an everyday all round tyre I prefer the F1s.
