VSM EK9 K20 Turbo Project

Oooo lobster backs.

It's all looking really good mate, it's a real credit to you.

Had a bit of free time today in between jobs, so been playing with this again.

Only temporarily held in place with a couple of self tappers at the back end, so doesn't really follow the bumper line as well as it will. Will be enclosing the rest of the bumper too.

Not sure what I think to it at the minute. I'll reserve judgement until it's finished and painted black.

Got a clutch/flywheel on their way how, along with the rest of the bits I need for the fuel system. Not too much left to do now before its back up and running

You make all your hot side parts with pre made bends or you have a machine for that?
Inspired to buy myself a tig and hibernate all winter till I get it right.

I don't have my own mandrel bender, so have to buy the bends in. I'd recommend something a little cheaper to practice on though!

Yeah of course.
Moving house soon and I'll have a better garage/shed for things like this.
Also means I'll leave the civic alone for 5mins

This is craftsmanship at its best , as I said before
Attention to detail is amazing,
Truly hand built by yourself

Been working on this again today. Will sort a proper update out tomorrow evening when I'm a little further on

Had a little delivery today!

ACT clutch and flywheel, ID1000's, Aeromotive fpr and a Walboro 255 pump. The last few bits needed to get this thing back up and running, aside from a few hoses and heat shielding bits and pieces.

So start up is close? Looking forward to hearing her bark.

Probably a couple of weeks away depending how we get on with current jobs! Pretty damn busy right now though
