Picked this up last Saturday nite, the last owner mined it like a baby!

Recently refurbed Mf10's!

Then fitted my P1's an the Rpf1's to see what they looked like,

Don't like the P1's on it at all, (no one pm me bout them there already sold!)
I think the Rpf1's look well on it but still don't look half as good as the Mf10's!

Under the bonnet could do with a clean but il get to that in next few days,

Lights on the front of the car were very yellow when I got it, but managed to get them back clear again, forgot to take before an after pics! :fplam:

Spec on the car is
Cusco coilovers
Maxim works exhaust mani
Spoon B pipe
J's Racing decat
Spoon N1
Everything else is standard the way I wanted it!

Future plans are
Drilled an grooved discs and yellow stuff pads (have them left over off the eg)
98 spec S80 (collecting it Saturday)
Exedy stage 2
Fidanza flywheel
Velocity stack (just waiting on the induction arm to put it on)
a map
a bride if I can find one
And mugen clocks if a set pops up!

I didn't get bored of it! Found rust in the shell!:angry2: so decided to break it, and no, no plans for a Kswap with this one,lol

Ripped out the aircon and standard air box out last

Then Went to give the engine bay a clean, wrapped all the bits in plastic bags that couldn't get wet, dizzy alarm hid's fuse box ect,

sprayed on a load of auto glym engine degreaser and let it go to work before washing it down,

Went to fit my velocity stack and filter but I was sent out the wrong short ram intake, * :fplam:

New arm will b here in the mornin and I should get that fitted tomoro along with the drilled an grooved disc's and the yellow stuff pads!

Quick update,

Got the new intake pipe an fitted it, also put on the itr strut brace,

Sold the last bits off the eg over the weekend so went onto tegiwa an orderd a fidanza flywheel and a stage 2 paddle clutch, should b here during the week.

Managed to pick up a 98 spec itr engine and box this mornin for peanuts, the lad who I bought it off thought the bottom end was gone in the engine, when we got home an looked over the engine it turned out it was loose bolts in the flywheel that was causing the rattling, And the engine is perfect! Winning!!! :cheers:
 
Collected the car from Larry in CleanCar.ie last, delighted with the work that was done! Got a full vallet inside and out and got the headlights and all the trim restored, pics aren't great an ya can't really make out hw good of a job was done, but here they are, :thumpup:

Picked up a spoon throttle body during the week, big difference in size between the standard one an the spoon, the standard one fits into the spoon:lol!:* made a slight difference high up in the revs, Vtec feels bit more aggressive,

See good difference already between the plm and the 98 spec mani that I had in it,
Just feels like the engine is breathing a lot easier, really notice the difference in 2nd and 3rd!:cheers:*

Got a set of spoon calipers earlier been after a set for a long time! :bananna:

Another small update,
Got some blox lca's and a beaks bar off MCG AutoStyling in Meath, after dealing with them a good bit now an they've bin bang on all times!

Back end feels stiffer an feels better in the bends, just needs a new set of tires an she'll b like a go kart :vtec:

Was told after I got them that they won't clear the spoon calipers I hav without 12mm spacers and extended wheel nuts so I Duno if il even bother putting them on the car! Never thought having too many spoon bits would b a bad thing!!:fplam:
