Hi everyone,

I need to get the complete engine wiring because I just found out that my EK9 was sold with an EK4 modified wiring and I'm having issues on getting it working right.

So... It has to be an OBD2b wiring.

Thanks.

There is no difference in ek9/ek4 wiring loom, what's been modified?

I have a obd2b wiring loom here

Actually there's quite a difference between the EK4 and EK9 wiring loom. Per example, the EK4 admission sensor is in the tube and in the EK9 is next to the injectors.

I've been discovering quite a lot of differences between both models really, and all those little details make a huge difference at the end.

Besides the IAT sensor, I don't see other difference. Does it make any different to have IAT on the intake ramp VS on the intake manifold?

X2 on this, same looms an do the same thing

Have converted hundreds of cars an never had any problem

I was actually wrong, and you stand correct. The IAT sensor makes the difference between the two wiring schemes. Though that's the difference that's making a huge difference on my car's emissions.

I'm having high CO (around 3.0) and HC (around 0.400).

It has been detected that the wiring is not in conformity, but I took the decision to make a new wiring.

Thanks anyway.

So you are saying that by having the IAT on intake ramp or manifold affects the emission?
