water inside the car

it has been raining recently and i have noticed that my car (rear seats outs) has been gaining a few little puddles of water where the rear bench is.
does anyone know where it is coming from?
 
Sounds like ya have a small crack or hole in the floor pan some where in that area, try getting a mate to spray a hose underneath the car while your inside looking for where the water is entering
 
hmmm something with my car is that...i get condensation under the carpet mats....

and my car really smells when it is wet weather..I think its the moisture inside the car
 
most leaks come from the hatch or taillight area, i'd suggest examining those first...
 
i understand blinx that that is where the water is in the spare wheel part... but why on the bench?
 
my car had a leak in the left taillight, and the rear bench was SOAKED! Anyone who sat back there got their pants wet 2k.

The water ran down along the left side of the car, behind the inner panels.
So not only did I have a small pool in the rear trunk on a rainy day, I also had the biggest sponge ever as a rear bench.

Took off the lights, and used some sealing compound along the gasket, and the problem was gone.
