Hello guys just had a dodgey experience in my EJ9 Facelift, which was brake fade. Brakes are currently on standard discs and pads... Just ordered drilled and grooved 262 discs. Just want to know what pads you guys would go for? I know there's a brake pad review thread but just want to find a decent set of pads quick as to get them ordered. Any help much appreciated

Thanks lewis

Do some research on here mate. I wouldn't have gone with drilled mate. Blanks with honda pad/yellowstuff/ds2500/ cl rc5 are good.

Just researched discs for ages haha! Read that drilled and grooved gets rid off heat easier? Which is less chance of fade

Drilled will crack from the holes eventually, usually before the disc reaches the end of its life.
As for pads, the harder you go, the more heat they'll generate which needs transferring to the disc. This is where your brake fade will be from. Too much heat.

But if you don't want to go for bigger discs, then EBC Yellows and DS2500s are very good fast road pads. Drop me a PM if you want a price for them.

Project Mu TYPE HC on the front, and project MU B-SPEC on the rear.. more than you will ever need for the road.
