One of the things I don't like about the ek9, is the gear ratios / final drive, some times you get your ass kicked because if you shift to early you don't stay on the vtec range!

How about you guys? hehehe

i dont like putting fuel in it , not the amount or cost but it just keeps clicking off like it's full, click ,click ,click i need to pull the nozzle almost right out and fill it up real slow,
anyone else have this trouble in the uk , got any tips ?

No need to create the B16B, would much rather a B18C-R in there!

stick 50 or 45 series tyres on it and you`ll be fine :nice:

I had this problem also when i was NA, you have to shift right at redline.

that it's LHD!
um, actually ek9's are all RHD.

I had 205/50/15 and still had that problem, now it doesn't even matter though, boost ftw, i never fall out of power :D

Put the nozzle in, then turn the handle up to the right so the handles almost paralell with the rear bumper line, you'll find it flows straight in then!

sticky windows!!!
well mines not a ek9, its a ej9 but i wonder if the problems are the same

HAHA one thing i don't like is the standard ECU, the Spoon one you don't have this problem at all :p

The car itself I can't really find fault with, nothing that i don't like as if there was i would modify it so i liked it, simple as that!!!

What i don't like is how many people obsess about B18's!!! The amount of posts by people slating the B16B and how it's apparantly some "inferior" engine is a Joke. EK9 has so much potential if you work around the engine, with basic breathing mods to the engine but with extensive suspension/braking mods the car can go very very well

Not saying that the B18c isn't a good choice, same weight of engine but larger displacement, of course it's going to pull a bit better.....

The gear-ratios are a bit annoying, a 4.7 fd would have been a better choice for the EK9 when it was being made imo.

There is a slight rattle inside the drivers door on mine :( . Oh yeah and the amount of money i spend on it lol.

EVERYTHING Ek9's are ****!

........

NOT!

sticky windowsssssss

Sticky windows:

The only thing I dont like is that it makes me want to spend loads of money.

I can't fault my EK9, puts a smile on my face always (NO WORD OF A LIE)

By the way, what do you guy's mean by sticky windows?

that they are a bit rattley on bad roads, then again with coilovers it gonna happen
the window rubbers
think the low cam could be better

that it attracts idiots in corsas who want to tailgate on the motorway. there is not one thing that i dont like about the car in general as the only main thing i've changed was fitting a teg gearbox the rest is just breathing mods and brake pads really
