Hello,

What bolt spacing does Civic Type R Use, also what is the preferred offset?

stud pattern is 5x114.3 and the offset as No_Fear posted, is +50.

Buy some good wheels man, your car deserves them, in case you dont know if you have oem wheel, they're enkei wheels.

I cant' find no rims for the car anywhere on the net, any US honda car uses the same spacing?

you will find a lot of wheels for your car

15x114.3 the s2000 has the same size, but they're not compatible keep in mind that :nice:

i think you don't have clear what wheel offset is, check out this picture that was posted in the resource area forum, hope you find it usefull :nice:

what brand of wheels you want to buy ? i would recommend some volks rays, mugen mf10, or desmond regamaster evo ...

Thanks..
The orginal wheels are nice themseles but one of them has a bendId like to keep the orgianl wheels actualy and spray them.

Oh S2000, but doesn't the US Civic Si hatchback use the same wsheel spacing?

Something JDM, Enkei, 5izgen, anything light and strong.

Nope, US Civic Si is 4 x 100 (not 100% sure) and the s2000 has a different offset on the rear wheels. how much money you have for the wheels? :nerv:

you can run a 17" x 7.5" rim with a 48 offset (rota Attack)

If you want cheap light wieght wheels you can get series 6 Mazda Rx7 wheel which are 16 x 8" and are a 50 offset from memory.

What tire size do you plan on running?
16x8 +42 is pushing it I think. The stock wheel is 15x6 +50 right? So with a 16x8 +42 the outer lip will stick out 8 mm more, and the inner lip will stick in 43mm more, or 2 inches minus the 8mm on the outer lip. You could put the car on jack stands, then with a block of wood and a scissor jack, jack up 1 front corner with the wheel on until that corner comes off the jack stand. This will simulate that corner being weighted on the ground, and you can measure what clearance you have between the wheel inner rim and the knuckle. Then you can measure cleanance with the wheel turned as well.

I think you will have rubbing issues with a 16x8 wheel and tire combo.

yeh, that aint good... sticking in 43mm more is excessive... hmmm, I know it can still come out a fair bit and 8mm towards the outer should be fine, well visually...

Are you certain with those calculations?

As narrow as posible as in so it doesn't look stupid... lol, I think it should fit 215 but yeh I don't want to do fender mods etc etc. guess just have to look for some 16x7s, this won't have any probs right?

What are the Stock CTR wheel sizes?
