Hi, I was wondering if 15x8 et20 would fit straight onto an EJ9? Does anyone else run this size wheel? If so what tyres do you run and you got any pictures? Thanks for any help! :drive:

I had 15x7 ET35 on my EK4 and they were sitting pretty flush with the fenders. When I lowered the car with H&R springs and used 205/50/15 Federal RS-R (these are pretty wide for 205s) they were rubbing. Didn't run much camber though.

I think that with wider rims and lower offset than mine and if you are thinking of lowering the car you would have to consider an appropriate wheel size and I'm almost sure you'd have to modify your fenders and maybe increase the camber so there would be no rubbing.

Dunno if this helps though :p

Sort of helpful, the wheels I'm looking at come in 15x8 at a minimum, so not sure how to work out if they would fit or not without seeing if anyone has tried to run that size wheel. Thanks anyway though :)

Totally forgot about this Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit

Tried OEM EK4 vs. your wishes with 195/50/15 tyres

Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 0.4mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 50.4mm more than before.

You can use this calculator to get info on the difference between what you got now and would like and then go and measure how much more out your new setup would come.

That's a massive help! Thanks a lot! Looks like 8j with ET20 won't fit my car then without a lot of hassle :/ I'll have to look into getting higher offset. Cheers
