which box and diff????

well lads

have b16b engine in my coupe, with s4c lsd box

i am looking to do some gearbox mods to improve the cars acceleration..

i have bein reading a googling but cant decide..

would my s4c box be good with 4.9?

would i be best with s80 4.7 and put in s4c 4th and 5th ?

or wud any of ye no a better set up??

and if i put in a diff wat improvements will i get thanks

I like the s4c box with a 4.78 final drive.

run this in itr im breaking, fantasic setup for overall compromise, fine for road and good for track and liveable on motorways, id run a plated diff though over oem diff, oem is great bit of kit with 0 maintenance bar mtf oil changes but plated diff is huge step up if you like to push and have fun in your car

run a close ratio box in my ek4, acceleration is blistering, living with day to day, gets boring pretty quick, overall car became little boring for me with this setup but exactly as i expected

motorway driving is aweful
