Hey,
My 1992 EG hatch with a newly rebuilt B16B started this week to make a high pitched noise at low speed, specifically at 5-40 km/h. and goes away when I go faster and slower than that.
It does not go away when I press the brakes and I have taken a look at the brakes and everything is fine. I cleaned and lubricated everything while doing it, thinking that this was the problem. To my surprise it didn't go away and is getting worse and louder the more I drive it.
Could it be the driveshafts?
Wheel bearings?
Better to mention that that car was sitting in the garage all winter while the engine and gearbox were removed and worked on.
I was thinking if someone here could help me narrowing down what this could be.
I tried to record it while driving home this morning and here you can hear it I hope.
