Why is it a Problem for People from UK...

I usually sort out the courier if I am buying, if I am selling I ask the buyer to sort out the courier.

If items go missing then there is no middleman to go through to track parcel down.

This applies to anyone, uk resident or outside uk.
Also stops people moaning about postage costs being too high.

Ive posted several big parts oversees with no issue. Sent gearbox, hub swap, gearbox parts, oil no problem. As long as the buyer is paying postage and the content value is covered then its ok IMO.

Looks like most of the members on here are willing to help out other EK9 junkies all over the world :nice:
Great engagement! I appreciate that!

I have sent items all around the world and will continue to do in the future.. At the end of the day, the buyer is paying for the postage so the least the seller can do is wrap it up and send it off.. I too have found the some uk sellers wouldn't post items to Ireland even if I have arranged the courier I pick them up.. Really frustrating at times...

That's a nice reply.
I am from Italy, and 99% of sellers doesn't want to ship here.
I really continue to not understand what is the problem for the seller!

Cheapest RM price for a parcel to Italy, 15kg.

Parcelforce Worldwide globalvalue More details 6-7 days delivery aim Up to £100 for loss or damage Not Tracked £67.26

I had a "best offer" on my b16 engine block of £50 DELIVERED to mainland Europe. Cheapest quote - £130 for the post alone.

And this week I had two BIN auctions ended on cheap items when i had post to uk only. - by international buyers. I HAVE offered to get a postal price, but it won't be pretty.

Expensive small items I will post to Europe, but otherwise its too damned expensive!

I've actually found importing goods from Germany is cheaper and in some cases as quick delivery wise, as the UK!

I'm from Germany, too. Bought lots of parts here like airbag steering wheel, calipers, strut bar and so on. All was ok, no trouble. I like this forum.
