From what I understand a GS-R is $600-$900,
and Type-R is $1,100- $1,600.
This is only what I have heard not true facts of mine!
I just want to know if i'm going to need a shop to put gears in a GS-R tranny or can I do it my self. The closest I have had to work on a b-series tranny is a 91 Prelude SI when I had the thing stuck it 1st gear. I had to replace this arm/ lever (shift rod 1st-2nd) from my other blown tranny into it. It worked perfectly fine after that, I really think that it was the honda fluid I put in that kept it going. I wanted to put a B16A2 or H22A into it cause I kept blowing the shitty B21A1 engines I kept puting into it, also the swap was like $4,500- $6,000 engine and all bump that! I sold it for a good price mods and all and fell in love with my 99 hatch.
