Wondering if any of you guys can help me out. I want to run a UK ITR ECU - OBD2B number p73-nxx

If not UK, then a JDM ITR ECU will suffice. Has to be OBD2B though.

Please help. :D

Hmmmm all jdm itr ecu came obd2a dude :(

can i ask why do you want this ecu?

Damn, even 00-01??? I heard that, I guess its true. I am running a ITR motor and want to run the ITR ecu with NO harness. I might just have to run this stupid setup, bulky.

you can run aem ems without a harness :) if your going to run a jumper why not just get a chipped p28?

Yep all ITR are obd2a.

Well you can get a p28 chipped ecu + harness for 285 $!

I changed my stock EK9 OBD2B ecu for a chipped p28 ecu, i managed to shave up 0.500 in my 1/8 mile time.

BTW i bought my ecu in http://www.phearable.net great seller :nice: i think you can get a good map from there man.

good luck

I would rather just keep a stock ECU since my motor will remain stock.

RVM: Where did you place that big bulky ECU? My U.S 99 hatchback fit a p28 in place of the stock ecu just fine, but my CTR won't fit 'cause of that heater fan thing. :(

huh? bulky? i have a ctr ecu in a 96 hatch, its the same size as a p28, mines a obd2a pct, is yours bigger? post pics if so, id like to see that.

My ITR ECU (tad larger then p28) is almost double the size of a CTR ecu.

thanks for the pics man, my ctr ecu is totally different, its got the same size case as a p28, its an obd2A could that be why? maybe i have a different ecu? i hope not, i payed like $250 for it

Its possible, but you're lucky since you have a bigger area to put the ECU. What numbers are on the ECU?

EDIT: Here is a picture of my OBD2B CTR ecu:

mine is suposed to be a obd2a ctr ecu, are you saying it may be infact an ITR ecu?

dut, so you're going to get a chipped p28 ?

Well, I wasn't planning on it since my ITR motor will be stock - just run stock ITR ecu..... BUT, since my friend chips p28s I might pick up a p28 and chip it - remove speed limiter, vtec at 5600rpm redline @ 9200rpm. Might even throw my **** on a dyno (friends shop) and try out different chips.

May have found my answer on using a "small" ECU - I can chip a p70, which is pretty small. :nice:

wow sorry for taking so long here are the numbers:

the top number reads: 37820-PCT-003
the bottom number reads: 1115-105021

:thanks:

003 sounds like the older one, which is why its bigger.
