Yellow HIDS, quick question?


i wouldn't have thought so but i'm sure that someone more knowledgeable will be along soon!!

i saw some guy heading the other way the other night with yellow lights and they were blindingly bright!
 
Hmm im thinking or geting a set but dnt no how the old bill will feel about them:)
 
no there not, only colour allowed are amber (standard), light blue and white
other colours arnt allowed :(
 
Yeh i think i will do but also get a set of 8000k blue bulbs too so i can swap over if i get pulled over to much:)
 
yellow lights are allowed as all fench cars that come over to the uk have them as standard
and they dont have to change over to white or slightly blue bulbs to drive over here my girlfriend had a set of yellow xenon lights on her car for over a year and not one problem and passed the mot with them in
if you looking directly at them e approved yellow bulbs should only have a slight tint its when you view from an angle you see the proper yellowy ness
