Well thought I would start a fresh thread for the civic now .

So . .. .. .


There have been a few things happen to the car recently.

Firstly

The civic went for its mot and unfortunatly failed needing only a few things

* Track-rod end
* Steering Rack Gaiter
* Rear Fog Light
* Handbrake adjustment
* Emissions

So I got all this sorted ready for its second MOT which it just scrapped through as emissions were still high despite changing the exhaust system from Cat back . Eventually the emissions dropped low enough and I left the Mot centre with a green sheet of mot paper


I changed my exhaust system cat back, for a smaller tidier looking one that I purchased from Ebay for the some of £36.00 (onto a winner and was only in tiverton).

My new exhaust (quite a bit quiter and looks better in my opinion)

Then

Me and a mate were chatting a few weeks back and came up with the idea of swapping our headlights over , i wanted something a tad different and my mate wanted more subtle (depite having a candy green car )

So I headed off to see Vince one evening and came home with some twin angel eyes with smoked lenses


Finally

A mate of mine has just got a clio 172 with wheels that i really liked purely cos of the way the spokes are twisted and also never seen them before in my life .

Found out they are KSPEED alloys

Anyway they were black when we swapped over but didnt feel it suited the car black .

Soo I was going to paint the wheels red with a White lip, but I done a few Vmods and they looked terrible !

Well I thought yeah why not can always change them if dont like them but now they are done I love them

I personally love the way the civic looks now , I no it may not be to everyones cuppa tea but its my car and not yours

BTW if any of the above pics (from the after section) could be done better let me know as just got a digi cam and still learning on it.

wow intense wheel colour i kinda like. did u paint them urself?

yeah are fairly bright yes i sprayed them myself with spray cans came out well i think

Nice car, and i do like those new wheels and colour.

One thing i noticed look in the first picture your yokahama Parada is the wrong way round. They are directional so this may affect performance.

me likey!!! wheels look very cool!! an ek9 or sir front lip would really finish it off.. kinda like the way you mounted the ek9 spoiler on the origional spoiler, suits the look of your car!

To be totally honest i didnt mount it my mate that owned the car before me did but as far as i can see its like filler and stuff but does look good

thanks , yeah the lights arent to everyones cuppa tea but i like them at night look so aggresive and yep i need a splitter.

well yesterday drove a 600mile round trip to collect my civic EP3 type R front seats here they are , im well pleased with them

yeah i am at the min long story . but all have been thouroughly checked and all are stupidly tight atm. new wheel nuts comin soon
