Thanks for looking, future additions include an oil cooler and a rollcage!

Cool! Nice specs, sounds and looks like a fun car. But why a DC2 too expensive? It isn't thát much more expensive, is it?

how do you find this car on the track compared to ek9's and dc2's for performance as i have always found the accords to be sluggish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd but they come to life in 4th and 5th, does the final drive you have in solve this problem on the track!?

Nice but read in banzai mag that these accords havent much power as tbe other k series engines and to concentrate more on the handling how do you find the power?

Nice! looking good on track!!!

If them coming to life in 4th and 5th is true i'm quite jealous, i find with the S80 its great in 1st 2nd and 3rd but 4th and 5th are too long! lol

That accord rocks! never seen one stripped out before! :wow:

It is definately quicker than stock dc2's and ek9's, throw in ep3's and dc5's also.

The final drive makes a massive difference, flat out in 5th the speedo is reading 135mph.

Having tracked slightly modded dc2's and ek9's i find the accord to be alot more managable. The longer wheel base keeps the back end very planted. There is slight understeer if you push it too much but i find it very controllable.

To compare it's performance to an ek9 on this site i would say it has a slight edge on matt_o's ek9. He has recently has his engine rebuilt and he is making 200bhp.

The reason i chose this is because to get a ek9 or dc2 at this spec or a spec i would have been happy with it would have cost me an extra 2k. Also the previous owner was an accord nut, i have never bought a car with such a comprehensive history + it has only done 65,000 miles.

Not going to lie i do miss my ek9 and dc2 purely for the fact they were easier to clean!! :D

it was a well looked after car then, i've always liked accords, the final drive is the job then for this car, when the accords are standard the gearing is to high i found, but the top end speed is crazy hence why i said they come to life in 4th and 5th .best of luck with the car mate :nice:

thats awesome love accords this looks even better stripped out

if i had simiilar gear set i think me and martin would be even this car is a great weapon! as for why he did'nt get dc2 or ep3 etc the money he paid for it would only buy the suspension and exhaust so you do the sums! alot of car for the money he paid im not gnna let out how much as thats down to mart

Looks like a very capable car and especially with 'The Stig' in the passenger seat.
