After some help guys after searching for which type of oil to use in my b16 transmission.

People recommend Honda MTF or Landrover MTF... I can get comma transmission oil at the motor factors, would 75w80 GL4 be any good?

Use Honda mtf, this topic has been covered so many times

Of course there is. There's loads of different brands but, as it's been said use MTF.

Torco mtf.

Actually mine runs 10w40 engine oil, but is changed every race/trackday as it does not have extreme pressure additives.

When the damn thinf stops breaking Im filling ait with race torco.

The only reason I can book the stuff on staff account until the end of the month, we sell a lot of comma oil and other places say you can use MVMTF 75w90 just want to know if I'll run into any problems using that?

I will price up how much x3 1L MTF costs at honda but I can see them begin a ripoff up here :/

correct me please, but didn't Honda change the MTF formulation to be more for the K series as of late?

Ive used AMSOIL, because of this, for a few years prior to going S2k.

My experience with gearbox oils from best to mediocre...

GM Synchromesh Friction Modified > Amsoil MTF > Honda MTF 3 > Honda MTF 2

The LandRover stuff is equivalent to Honda MTF 2 as far as I know.

Torco fluids are also well rated.

;)

I though that honda had changed there MTF oil to be more suited towards the newer K series gearboxes. I found the last time i bought Honda MTF it was very runny. I use torco gear oil now as its recommended with M-factory stuff.

I always use honda mtf but it's a bit pricey. They charge it 12euros per litre in Greece.

Just an update guys I ended up using Honda MTF, havent had any problems

I went on the comma oil website and put my reg in and it recommended 75/80 GL5 which is weird because some people said they put that in there gearbox and it screwed it up
