I hope this is allowed here, apologies if its a problem or in the wrong section.

I have an EK9 which is modified and I'd really like a standard one, and wondered if anyone fancied some kind of swap? Selling isn't a problem, I know people who want to buy it but I'd rather swap.

In the past 18 months I've done about 8 miles in it, yes that many! I have a few hondas and more recently a very full time and distracting job, this just isn't being used, and if I'm going to keep an ek9 for future use then I'd rather a standard one (at 42 this loud b18 with hooligan backbox just isn't cool anymore!), leaving this one to be used now for someone who wants to get on track or just have a very fast ek9. Oh, and the miles I have done were last September to the MOT test station and back, I do start it every few weeks and drive it in a few circles!

I can give more details and pics to anyone who is genuinely interested, it is in a lock up so I don't have a picture right now, in fact I've just had a beer and was pondering selling it, but I think I'd prefer a swap.

As the tile suggests, this has a JDM B18c engine in it (circa 200bhp, from a dc2), with a good crunch free LSD gearbox (I forget the code, but it is lsd as I fitted this box myself as the box the car came with was a) not lsd, and b) knackered, so I sourced a known good one). Engine pulls very well, its a bit mental to be honest, it handles great.

It has brand new disks/pads, just had a service (all oils & filters). New front outer cv's and drop links too, and other stuff when my memory kicks in.... Ah, a brand new clutch kit was fitted too.

It has various mods here and there, aftermarket suspension, etc. Might be skunk2 springs on standard shocks, I'll need to check. Fog light integrated into rear light units so no aftermarket unsightly add on.

It also has some issues as you'd expect, it doesn't have the original red carpet, this was sold by a previous owner, it also doesn't have power steering pump and ancillaries, but does have a ps rack, so its very heavy, If I don't swap it and keep it, then a ps setup would be required I think. The electric mirrors don't currently work, the mirror control buttons dont actually fit the loom, so I'm assuming that the mirror switch is from a non-jdm ek/ej. Oh, and there is a ring missing from the steering column, so the indicators don't self cancel. Crack under the red material where you rest your elbow on the drivers door card, other minor age related bits and bobs inside.

Its an early spec model with the later spec front bumper. Front light units aren't ek9 items, from a uk EK/Ej(?), rear spoiler is also a copy (previous seller sold that too!). Oh mileage, I'll get it, but its in KM and if I'm honest, the engine, chassis and speedo didn't start life together, so its rather meaningless!

The paintwork is fresh, could do with a good polish, but its a good base. No rust.

The engine bay has had a wire tuck (not by me, not my thing), but it is extremely clean and minimalist, with swanky gas struts on the bonnet!

Battery is properly secured in the boot area.

So, an honest, and rather clean B18c genuine ek9 to swap for your OEM ek9? This car really has given me a headache, its almost in too good a condition to track, but it isn't oem so I love it a bit less!

Get in touch if you're genuinely interested, I'll get some pics up soon too.
