Facelift vsm ek9

Nope never said it was turbo.

Just a fairly standard ek9 with a few nice bots, mugen intake, mugen 4 branch and mugen twinloop.

Power should be somewhere around standard.

I've not updated this in a while, I've been too busy enjoying the car :D

I've finally got round to doing a few bits to it!

Just fitted the new honda discs and pads allround along with the oem suspension and oem rear lcas going back on. The rear drop links were past it so they have been replaced with new delphi items and it's just been treated to a new pair of hankook v12 evos on the front.
Engine wise it has had oil, filter, plugs, gearbox oil and a set of mfactory gear linkage bushings.
The engine feels very fresh and the gearbox changes very tight and precise:)

I thought the car was good before, but I can't believe how much nicer to drive and smooth it is having gone back to standard suspension and just having a good refresh / service.

Next priority is to get the car waxoyld, underneath and also wax injected into the cavities, I want to get this done whilst the good weather is still around.

I had been thinking about a k20 conversion but this B16B setup although not as powerfull just seems very balanced and so much fun!

nice, glad you decided to get rid of those LCAs. pure useless rice that IMO.

also kill that clownish rear tie bar thing

lovely nine, love what you are doing to it!

Thanks for the comments, rear tie bar went along with the skunk2 lcas.

Just replaced the rear engine mount, which was well past it, the middle literally fell out!

Got a genuine cat to bolt on for the mot, failed on a brake light, fog light and emissions.
Drivers side reverse light is being used as the fog light, covered in red laminate and using red/chrome bulb.

Next jobs are to sort creaking from the rear, which I suspect is the arb bushes.
Remove rocker cover and front strut brace, clean prep and paint in fresh wrinkle red paint...whilst these bits are off I will do the valve adjustments and I also have a new red stitched shift boot to fit.
