Japfest 2 ek9/type r stand


I will put all the costs up this evening if it helps everyone, as I was confused to begin with too.
 
The £14 is to cover your stand pass for your car AND your entry ticket.

Any passengers will need to buy their own ticket which is either £13 through the stand, or through the japfest website/pay on the gate on the day.
 
Is there still space on the stand available? I had a quick read through but wasn't sure

Were up to 26. I'm booking now and i'll buy a spare just incase!

Key points will be:-
Stupid gearstick
Less sophisticated rear suspension
People carrier styling

I will be seeking to avoid any discussion about the k20!

Front suspension is the worst part of the ep3/dc5.
 
I went from my first ek9 to an ep3 and I could not believe how **** it was in comparison. It wasn't that I didnt like it, it just wasn't up to my expectations. The steering feel is non existent, my daily 306 diesel feels and grips better, had a shot of a DC5 and the difference hydro steering makes is massive... But at the end of the day the ep3 went and was replaced with another 9.
 
I'm gonna message my uncle who also drives a 9. If he wants to rock up I'll take two stand places, I'll let you know before next Thur

I am bringing this from JAPFEST 1. Fast ek9 (which seems NA) I dont know the driver either if it is 16B or 18C. It Really embarressed that Audi :beer: the FN2 was being caught but not recorded. Anyone from here was at the stand in JAPFEST 1?

Club booking is defo closed now, just waiting for stand layout to be released :)

Also, if anyone knows they aren't going to make it on the stand, can they let me know so I can free up the stand spaces as there's quite a few people after them who didn't get them in time :) you can still keep the entrance tickets but I've only got the set amount of stand passes :)
 
Also, can people start sending me their address' by PM so I can send them out as soon as I relieve them? :) if you're going up with a few people, let me know and I can send all the tickets to one person to distribute.

I finally have the tickets, so I'm sending them 1st class recorded in the morning. They've left it so late I think I'll do it recorded just to make sure everyone gets them as we literally have people from every corner of the country, which is awesome! Just annoying for me cus I'm pretty out of pocket sending them recorded but dont have time to take chances, cheers Japfest!

I'm going to be aiming to get there between 7:30-8 and we ALL have to be there and parked by 9, but PLEASE can people make sure they're aiming for before then, as there's always queues and I wanna get people sorted and parked so we can make 29 car look semi orderly!
We've also got two new Type R demo cars on the stand now that Honda are bringing which is pretty cool!

Theres a little map included with your ticket and stand pass, they've not released the show layout, so I'm not really sure where this stands us with having a good position or not, but guess we'll have to wait and see.

Passengers will need their own ticket - none of you have purchased passenger tickets through me, so incase anyones expecting them to be included, I literally only have your entry and your car.
You can buy these direct from the website for a discounted rate up till the day before. Any later and you'll have to pay on the gate.

There's a Macdonalds opposite too for foods - a few clubs are meeting at this retail park including a massive one with 100 cars, but they should be gone by the time we get there :)
You don't have to meet beforehand so don't worry if you're running late or anything! Just please be at Rockingham before 9 at the very latest!

Tickets should be with you Monday/Tuesday and hopefully I havent ****** any up haha!
 
@nicole_ Thanks for posting that here. Not on the bookface!

How much more is the recorded postage? I certainly don't mind paying a couple quid extra as you shouldn't be footing the bill for Japfests cock up!
