and after all that hard work it all needs to come out for paint lol

Since all the wiring left can not be completed until reassembly i started getting rid of the stuck on bits of silicone/adhsive left behind from the sound deadning material.

Test fit the lip, i was shocked i only had to drill 2 holes, the bumper has holes already in it for the other 7 fasteners

(the white on the edge of the lip is tape i put on to prevent scratching)

the lower grill will be cut off and i am going to make ducting out of sheet aluminium for the intercooler. My brake duct should be here soon aswell. ill be getting the lip 3M'd this weekend, stay tuned

been a while since my last update and not much has happened. My date for paint got pushed back because i **** the bed with my cage, called last minute to get an appointment from a cage and the guy was booked up. Cage to be welded mid feb-march, paint early April if the stars align! I havnt had much time to work on the car latley but i got my front lip 3M'd thanks to my friend and began removing the rear seat brackets. long story short i made a mess of removing them haha i didnt have a spot weld drill bit so i figured i would try with a regular bit.... yeah didnt work, i will need to weld a few patches live and learn i guess.

picked up a set of Energy Suspension master bushing set from a local member thanks!

i am contemplating on getting a set of those Spoon rigid collar washers.... not a fan of the Spoon price tag but seems like an interesting item and since im changing all the bushings to PU why not get rid of all the suspension slop i possibly can. for those of you who dont know what i am talking about

I should have my turbo kit, engine harness (Rywire) and a few other goodies ordered by this weekend. My wheels are still a few months out with is starting to make me impatient! i hate paying for parts that i cant hold in my hands... more to come!

wow looks good, makes me kinda of nuts and want to get my engine bay tuck done already. keep up the good work!

But when ur engine swap is as impressive as yours minor things like wires get over looked haha

lol, but seeing yours and couple of other makes my engine look dirty as heck.. but still going got get it clean up as much as possible.

So are you still sticking with K swap?

No I ditched that plan, I had a supercharged K20A2 from my crashed DC5 that I was contemplating on swapping but after a few pulled against my friend in his K20A EG6 I couldn't justify the cost. My B18C5 was just as quick, was already in the car and building a B vs K for boost is much cheaper. So I figured I keep the B and turbo

Nice work this far man... alot money thrown on it... keep the good work!

Great worx mate, love how its not rushed. Can't wait to see this finished. Love the lip and that air inlet idea that should look very cool.

My bro's birthday is 15th Dec and my mums is also 25th Dec so i know how you feel about hectic christmas time lol.

Haha really?! Cool yeah it can get pretty crazy, especially when u find that perfect gift for them that u no u need to get but isn't exactly wallet friendly
