level 4 turn key swap, any experience?

See my problem is i have the chance at a K24 accord for 1300 with full honda history, its a type s, but i dont know if tgeres a market to break tge rest of it to recoup some money to make it worth buying the full car, its on tenzo r springs and has clean everything. Also have said to my mate i am taking his k20 conversion as he is breaking his car and that has a nice quaife diff and uprated clutch etc, so plan was get both because i want the k24 long term but id like to just get a running engine in it first, so was going to fit the k24 with the ep3 box so i dont need to buy different mounts down the line and then just put the head on and get the pistons at a later date.

But in two minds and cant decide :(

I'm getting the k20 in and running first on my build then putting in a k24 bottom end. You are going to have to get a Type R head anyways if you want decent power.

And if you have Hassport mounts it fits fine with a k24. dont need anything else

Yeah man but i dont know if i should get this k24 while i can get it cheap, a engine just now i 1000 on ebay and i can get the full type s for 1300, rock and a hard place here

K24 is the way forward. Torque down low is just immence. The kswap mounts fit both k20 and k24.. but to run it properly you'd need a crv side mount which costs about £60?. Then other bits like the sensors differ from one and the other so its best to have both engine looms.

If you can find a k24 cheap the go for it. But as you said. Cl9s are hard to break... my engine came with a gearbox and that hasnt sold yet... and its up for £100!

Really? ahhh man :( i didnt think it would be that hard to break tbh. I dont know wether to get it or not now, hard one, might just stick to the k20 off my mate. Because if i do that then the 1300 i was going to spend on the accord could be used in the conversion parts. I dont even know what the parts off the accord are worth so would al be ebay'd likely.
