excellent fly guys had mine in for 450miles now is excellent along with the short shifter :))
 
Just to add I think this is one of the best mods that I have done on the EK9. It wasnt an Mfactory one but a 9lbs flywheel and the motor revs quicker, better mpg without a doubt on mine. There was a very technical article on why the flywheel plays such an important part over on the ITR forum. I have been playing with cars for a great many years and am stunned at the difference it has made to a relatively standard cars. Any downside, for me absolutely none.

I took advantage of Saint Matts offer on here to fit free when I got a new clutch installed so was a no brainer for me.
 
Might invest in one of these, what does the stock EK9 B16B flywheel weigh?

can this kind of flywheels compromise the engine? can the crank be damaged and so one? i heard some history´s that the crank needs to be calibrated with such a lightwheighted flywheel..

anyone can explaine? regards
