Not liking my new windscreen


Ive been on the phone on and off for the past 2 days, ive spoke to so many different departments and put on hold so many times im losing the will to fight it anymore but im convinced something can be done about this

Autowindscreens have told me there is nothing they can do because they simply cant get a bronze screen so in their eyes have done nothing wrong which i can kind of see. The claims department at my insurance just keeps putting me through to autowindscreens and then im told to contact my insurance again, going round in circles is so frustrating!

Has anyone got any advice on what i can do? Autoglass tell me they can fit a bronze screen which is sourced from the UK but ive already paid out for this blue one which autowindscreens wont refund me and my insurance is now up so im no longer insured by them

Start a new policy and wait a couple months and go thro this again or try and source one yourself, find out exactly where to get it from claim on ur insurance and hand over the details om the bronze one, or find a bronze one and get it fitted
 
The screen from autowindscreens will have a guarantee. Tell them its wrong and you want a refund. Go back to your insurance and complain because they clearly are not insuring your car as an import. Autowindscreens can refund your excess if you complain loud enough. I,ve seen this so many times with imports that why I,m careful when insuring my jdm dc2 because some of the insurance companys put it down as a uk spec when clearly there is a difference.
 
This is the trouble, i told them i want a refund but they said they cant because they cant source a bronze windscreen so have done everything they could. And every time i phone my insurance i get put through to the claims department who put me through to autowindscreens and im back at square one. Ive been on the phone for surely a couple hours trying to sort it out

Really duno what else i can do because no one is taking the blame for the screw up, thanks for the help though

looks like the only way now! could surely sell this thing if it comes off in one piece
