Recaro weight

Tried searching but not found it.

Anyone know the weight of a EK9 recaro seat?

No Inc rail they are just under 20kg each and the fixed buckets recaros with rail are 9.5kg iirc
 
well my clio 172 seats were a joke 26 kg each and that was worth doing..
 
well i have no rear interior at all. i suppose yes. anything above 20kg you notice.
 
Wow 44lbs each? That seems a bit high? Our Stock S14 seats are only 30lbs each. I'd think a Type-R Recaro would be in the High 20's?

The 30kg or 66lbs for Both sounds a little more realistic than 44lbs a piece. 33lbs sounds more like it but I don't really have say on that considering I don't have an EK9 or the Type-R Recaros for that matter.

I have a list of weights for Aftermarket seats I'll post when I get home from work.

I actually weighed mine to compare, and OEM recaros are bloody heavy! :angry2:

Wow, lol I guess it is. But it probably holds you better than an S14 seat...

And yes I'll post the list when I get home, got about 7 hours left lol.

:eek: I kneew they where heavy but jeeeez almost 20kg each!!! thats mental. But also good to know i have more weight to shed if i need to :nice:

Think they are slightly worth it if its a daily driver though.
