Hi guys. Recently got my ek9 a couple of weeks ago - it used to belong to user 'JKK' on here I believe!

Anyway, the car is in great condition and I'd like to keep it that way despite it being my daily driver... I have a couple of questions:

- I was told by someone reputable that it is recommended to do the second camblet at 100k miles. My cambelt was done around 60k I believe. Everyone else says to do the second cambelt at 120k. Who is correct?

- I am soon going to do an oil change on it. I have fully-synthetic Fuchs oil ready to go, but is it actually recommended to use semi-synthetic? I know that the engine was basically designed when there was no such thing as fully-synthetic but what do most people do? I notice all the best high grade oils are fully-synth.

Thanks in advance for any advice...

I run fully synthetic.

As for the timing belt, its not just about the mileage but the age of the belt too.

My EK9 had it changed in Japan but I don't know exactly when so I'm going to change it for piece of mind.
