Just had a read through the thread, most of the picture don't work mate! haha
But wicked car anyway! I thought I would leave a little review of the Hybrid throttle body here for you.
Main thing to note it the pedal feel, it is a lot firmer (understandably as it uses a bigger/stronger spring) but it will take some getting used to! As yours is a track car slow speeds aren't really much of a concern but it is quite hard to judge the pressure on the pedal when moving from a standstill. I've done about 100 miles so far and still trying to get it perfect. It's almost like having a dead spot, nothing for a little bit and then all just comes at once.
It would be really awkward in heavy traffic, almost like a uprated clutch, you are either going or stopped! lol
Is your RBC already ported to 70MM? If not I would say it isn't a necessity to go to a larger TB as you will only see minimal power gains for the money. The only reason I bought one was that my RBC had already been ported and I got it cheap so needed to match the TB up to it.
In hindsight I kind of wish I hadn't bothered and just bought a standard RBC and standard TB. But you may find on your setup it is highly beneficial as once you have mastered the resistance on the pedal down shifts and rev matching are a lot easier as the TB is more responsive.
As for the throttle body itself, I would highly recommend the Hybrid one, its a quality bit of kit! You have ability to run the IACV in 3 different positions (maybe useful on a K-Swap?). You can also block this off as well as having the ability to block off or run any of the other ports like the MAP sensor if you want.
Hope this helps!
