Yet, another S2K project

Re-purposed B series ecu case in my s2000, it is now a fuse box for accessories and sits behind the passenger seat.

ha! thanks.

Spent a few days working out some of the wiring issues with the cruse control; fixed.

The last issue being the sending unit and gauge for the water temp.
The current gauge is a short sweep auto meter deal, low cost electric gauge.
Im switching that out to AEM like I did for the oil temp...keeping the water and oil temp gauges the same. Less thinking more driving....

Running out of things to fix on the s2000...lol

Did you solved the issues? :D :nerv:

:alone: sorry looking good though :D
Thanks rvm.

Over the weekend I changed out the oil, oil filter and rear differential fluid.
(transmission fluid was done a few weeks ago)
I used thicker 110 AMSOil gear oil in the diff...much better sounding, much more quiet, no like blown diffs.

Re-routed the coolant lines around the throttle body [b and k-series learning].
Just like on the B and K series, this actually helps the engine run smoother,
but is open to freezing over the butterfly with cold outdoor climates.
The s2k gets hot under the hood, more than the EK does.

I remember I used this gear oil on a 1995 lancer evolution 3 around 9 years ago, and it was great! :D

Do you change the gear oil after every track session? :)

Any pics of your evo3? Interesting!

I change engine oil, brake fluid, gear box fluid...rear diff is good for 30 - 50,000 miles however I do change that out just not after every track day.

New issue, a low rumble noise starting at 75mph and up...varies by speed...it may be the rear wing, removing that today to confirm or eliminate the rear wing as the issue. :|

November 1, Laguna Seca. Lets see if the decat, mugen exhaust will pass sound there...if it does great as Laguna has the strictest in my area.

Laguna was a hand full with all the rain...NT05's in the rain -- not good.
