Greeting guys. I am 19 and drove a EP2. I was involved in an accident at night on a bend on B road last month, the front car went into a ditch and no body was hurt and no other car involved. I was so panic at that time, I decided to call up recovery service and paid him 40 quid to tow the car back home. Later we went back to the scene and found out that the road were full of sand.
My dad was the main driver and I am the named driver and this is not fronting because he use most of the time. So we phone up co-op and told everything to them even the road were full of sand etc... Last week we receive our claim at 2000 quid with 550 quid excess deducted. Ok we go to search for some cars and at the end we bought a ford focus 1.6 with same insurance group as the EP2 -6, they charged only 60 quid for the change.
Cut the long story short... So few days ago, the insurance policy cames. My dad should have lost all his no claims but the cert stated my dad still have 3 years no claims. Did they made a mistake? I dont want to call them out because this is a "good" mistake for me and him if this is true?
Thanks guys
