SO in love with them

Cars been running spot on, not let it idle ahead of mapping but it seems great. done an oil change and filter and not a single sign of anything which I guess is a good!
 
I'll update with a video later for those who havent seen it on the dyno.

got it back yesterday with a base map and its been ran in properly on the dyno with TDI north. very very happy! :D :D
 
They want you to do more miles after they've run it on the dyno?

I wasnt about to pay them to do 500+ miles of running in, they got the critical stuff done on the dyno and now im doing 500 or so with the mineral oil to get it run in on the road. well trying to, I'm having issues with it atm.

She's on a basemap atm, running about 220hp - really puts a smile on my face already!

annoyingly, half the drive home it had the EML on, and kept cutting revs like it was hitting a brick wall suddenly at 3.5/4k
switch car off and it goes away, but eventually comes back
drove for ages this morning to try and make it come back with the laptop plugged in to get the error code and nothing.
left my house this afternoon and 5 mins down the road its back on and its engine overheating
have a very slight leak in my footwell, but ive used all the coolant in the res, plus a bit from the radiator so it seems to be causing me issues and i guess leading to the error code.
not really sure what to do, leak isnt obvious and I dont know where to start, but its put a proper downer on it :(
 
Yeh, but its the error code thats causing me issues

ECU keeps randomly clicking too :/
 
Sounds like the boost cut just when your climbing up the revs. keep it below 3.5k when your running the engine in.

The eml though, has paul used that for knock control? I'm not 100% now but my tuner set it up so if the ecu picks it up then the eml will flash or stay on but once I scan it then no codes come up.

Clicking could possibly be a relay etc
 
What spring you have in that dump valve?

Yeh that's the error code I was getting.

Fiddled with matrix hose and got it on a bit more and done 105 miles tonight with no error code! Still have a bit of coolant in footwell though, dya think that's enough to be causing my issues with the error code?
