Could be your brake fluid is a bit low, I'm not sure on civics (haven't bought one yet!) but a lot of cars use the handbrake warning light as the fluid level warning light too.

I have been putting this off for as long as I can but my wife is still without a job and we have a house with no kitchen or bathroom (we were doing it up when my wife was made redundant!). So it is with great sadness I need to sell my GTR so we can finish the house and manage for a few more...

Thanks for the info guys, this is all really helpful stuff! My initial thoughts were to get a dc2 integra but then i found out more about the ek9 civic and I like the exclusivity of it because it was never sold in the UK. This is going to be a tough decision! :confused:
