has anyone tried using a honda crv iacv on their engine? it looks identical except the crv doesnt have any coolant lines running to it.

hi guys are all ek9 boxes stamped LSD on them? i bought a box that is supposedly from a ek9 that is definitely lsd but it has no LSD marking. It is marked V4D where it usually says LSD in other boxes. is mine a ek4 box with aftermarket lsd? its a 4.4fd box if that helps.

what year is the b18c??

im starting to notice high performance tyres in 15" 55 series are getting pretty hard to find these days. the guards on the ek are way to big for 50 series.

There's a much better range of wheels in 5 stud.

I don't know why but im lead to believe on the track if a stud breaks on a 4 stud you get black flagged. On a 5 stud you don't.

I'd check for a leak in the vacuum hoses.

yes i have the original obd2b ek9 ecu. my tacho works because i connected the blue wire coming out of the dizzy into the tacho test connector near the brake booster. but i'd like to do it the same way the factory wired it up incase the signal also affects anything else.. The tacho signal coming...

unfortunately the service repair manual for the 99-00 civic says the tacho gets its reading from the blue wire.

will need to know what year the ek9 engine is from. if the engine loom is obd2b than it will be easy with a few mods to the loom.

hi guys. just wondering if anyone with a obd2b 99-00 model ek9 can do a quick check of their distribtor plug for me. the bottom wire coming out of the dizzy should be a blue one but on the engine loom its empty on mine. can anyone else confirm that theirs is the same??? all the wiring...

my guess is that the b14 on the diagram is the ecu connection b connector number 14 but i dont think there are immobiliser signals on the B connector. not on the ek9 anyway. what car is this from?

The dark blue wire (rpm signal) coming out of the distributor does not plug into anything on the engine harness. To get the tacho to work, wire this blue wire into the blue tachometer test wire (which runs up into the gauges) which is up next to the brake booster. Will update on the speedo, got...

i will be updating this thread with things i find out during the process. obd2b c131 connector #7 is for fans but everywhere i look online connector A20 is supposedly fan. when i short out the ECT switch, c131 #7 starts the fans whereas A20 does not.

hi does anyone have the wiring diagram for the c131 connector on the ek9 loom. its the green one that goes up into the dash. been searching for days and i can only find the connections for the ecu side. The green plug is wired very different between obd2a and obd2b.

jumper harness wont work if im using the obd2b engine loom unfortunately. only other option is to use the original d16y4 wiring loom and use a conversion harness on that
