yep they have the rotary twin turbo lumps in them. But you got to be carefull with what your buying, as after about 60k the rotor tips wear out, and alot of the time you have to have a full engine rebuild. Most of the cars over 60k for sale have normally had full engine rebuilds, and for the rx-7 engine build, its alot of money to do. A lovely car when there running rite tho and alot of tuning potential
RX7's are amazing cars, totally different to any other car in their power delivery as they are so responsive, they also have a 50/50 weight split which is very rare on a car and quite an achievement. They are light and as for tuning, the sky is the limit. They have a reputation which is falsely given as somebody has already said that they need a rebuild after 60k miles, plain and simply not true. If a car hasnt been taken care of it will need a rebuild sooner, whereas if the oil is changed regularly, good cooling aids added, seals are in good nick and the car has good compression alread, they can last over 100k miles. Also bear in mind that a rebuild on a wankel is way way cheaper than on a piston engine, they dont have as many moving parts.lol yeah agreed!
What do you think of the RX 7 turbos? Have you driven one>? Also do they have the wankel rotary engine aswell as being turbo charged???
Yeah, excellent Time Attack car.Time attack mode records all made by that car!
SB-Performance, your like the Mr Meeagi of the car world lol, love it
