Item for sale: 1997 Honda Civic Type-R Import (EK9)
Price: £5000
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Condition: Great
Mileage: 94000

Time has come to move on and get a more practical car, I don't exactly want to sell this but would like to pay off some debt and maybe put a deposit on a house so here it is...

SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY and sensible questions about the car in this thread.


Spec List :-
Standard B16B. Vtec pulls very strong like new, no smoke.
98spec OEM Import ITR manifold 4-1
K&N washable panel filter
Decat
Spoon B-Pipe (have standard mid pipe aswell)
Top Fuel "Street Fighter" back box (VERY RARE)
New Proxes T1R all round
Eibach Pro-kit Springs (buyer will recieve standard ones also)
Toad ai606 alarm
Air Conditioning
Alpine head unit and uprated speakers all round


Bad points :-
Bit of rust has started to flare up on the rear arch, price reflects this.
1 or 2 small dents from parking, not noticeable unless up close.
One interior door card has small scratches and steering wheel has started to fray slightly on the right hand side.


About 9 months MOT and 4 months tax

Partial service history, I always do servicing myself and replace bits as needed (So far it's had a few oil changes, ARB droplinks, wishbone and bushes changed, new tyres, brakes and a new Anti-Roll Bar.)

alright mate cars lookin sweet, hope you were good to it lol, ok everyone i owned this car for a year and can vouch for it... well not seen it in a long time but i trust that you took good care of it don :D sad to see your letting it go hope it goes to another enthusiast and is cared for. Dont sell it to any nuggets lol:p

Thanks man can spread the word if you want :) took extremely good care its never wanted for anything lol.

No danger did you go to a DC5, that's one of my reasons for selling lmao.

yeah after a year of driving my grandads accord was doing my head in to get another ride. Almost got another 9 but decided to go for the 5 for somethin a wee bit different, cant shake that honda bug off though :D:drive: what you thinkin of a dc5 as well ? bloody hope not !! lol jk.

Not til November, til then I'm looking at a nice mk3 golf to cut about in!

Who knows though cause by then i'd be able to afford an STI or Evo of some sort, pretty tempting!
