200-220 WHP Daily Tyres, What to get?

I have a set of t1r's on a daily dc2 and think there **** overall. Great tire for grip in the dry but there **** in the wet I think. And in Ireland we spend more time driving in the wet. I'm going changing mine soon and might try the advan's. The price really says it all if the Toyo is £30 a tire and the Advan is £80

toyo r1r / advan neova ad08 / khumo v70 / hankook rs2 / federal 595rsr. are all great road tyres but sounds like your after 888 for summer and track and a winter tyre jn which case the uniroyle rainsports seem to be a good bet.

T1R's are the worst tyre I've used tbh. Horseshit in the wet (can light up all the way through second in a ******* VTR) and average in the dry!

You need some of these :naughty:

Going to try get Hankook to import some of these next year all going well

what tyres have ya on that h22?

toyo r1r they are a bit soft and wont last long but they grip amazing !!

Falken 452's are good in the wet and grip in the dry. I use ad08's on my track wheels and the 452's on my winter wheels, works really well I'm running 230bhp

ended up just getting a pair of 195 50 15 R888's, 1st isint great but gripping fine in second+ :)) will buy a pair of 205 50 ad08's and stick these on the back, cheers for the opinions people :nice:

I had that setup, I can tell you it does not lend itself well to nicely balanced handling. I would stick with the same tyres all round personally.

Daily tires... and you go for 888's. Whats the point. Stupid imo.

Or are you thinking public roads are race tracks.

Edit: using semi slicks wont aid take offs... my old b20 used to spin up 1,2,3 on a048s and the whole dash used to jump with wheel hop

Only wanted to grip 2nd fine, job done, i know they wont last long but sure **** it:nice:

I would say specs 2 for a daily had them on both my turbo zrs and grip was very good even with 260whp

I gona go with T1Rs for dailys... save the 888s for track fun! :)

Got t1r on now alot less tire noise than spec2.
Paradas grip better in the dry i reckon

paradas are utter b***ocks massive road noise. sidewalls are too soft and aquaplane at the merest hint of rain. worst tyres i've ever had
