I have for sale my Integra DC5 in the very rare Milano Red. This is one of the more rare OEM colours the Integra DC5 came in and has been a âhead turnerâ wherever Iâve went. It has been imported from Japan in 2007 and has since had 3 owners since being brought into the country. HPI clear and currently is on a Southern Ireland Reg, but had 12 months MOT put on in October and have the paperwork required to have a UK plate put on. It has 109k miles and drives as well if not better than a car with half the miles. It is very tight and doesnât have any knocks or rattles. The original limiter is still in place with the car still limited to approx 112mph. I have been using it to travel to work and back everyday ( circa 60mile round trip) and it is very economical when needed for a high performance car (36 â 38mpg), but also returns incredible performance, torque and grip when needed.
The car is mechanically perfect and wants for absolutely nothing, the bushings, bearings and ball-joints are all tight and are in great working order with no flaws or advisories come MOT time. The inspector was pleasantly surprised at how clean and tidy my Honda is. I have since replaced the front brake discs and pads with genuine Brembo items from Honda, in Ballymena.
The suspension is nice and firm and has a great stance with OEM dampers up front with Tein springs coupled with Tein coilovers in the rear. This has made for fantastic handling, turn-in and gives the car a great road presence. The engine is completely standard and untouched, with OEM manifolds. The only change has been the addition of an AEM V2 induction kit, which has added to the throttle response and sound when in Vtec. The exhaust system is completely standard with the CAT present, which leaves this a quiet car to drive and really pleasant, not drawing any unwanted attention.
The exterior is OEM Honda standard and the paintwork is in great condition with minimal fading and a great shine of the regularly polished paintwork. There is no rust on this car whatsoever. There are a couple of little shopping trolley dings and some stone-chips to the front bumper which is as expected for a 12 year old car but aside from that my DC5 is in very very good condition. The original DC5 alloys refurbished in gunmetal look great against the red paintwork and really sets it off.
The interior is in great condition also with the black Recaro, black carpet and black original integra mats combo against the red paintwork, which, IMO, is the nicest combination. The drivers Recaro was previously ripped and repaired at a stage, so the bolster is somewhat saggy. Otherwise no rips or tears or fag burns of any sort. It also comes along with the very rare rear parcel shelf, which fetches £200+ alone! A double din cd/dvd/radio/SD/ipod/tv/satnav player is in place and a nice little addition. Finally a Falcon alarm system has been installed with remote start which is a lovely mod on the cold mornings but also a great piece of security.
