Up for sale is my current daily used car, 2004 Honda Civic Type R.
Took the car in part exchange for my Integra Type R, but have my eye on a new car so the Civic has to go to fund this.
105k miles (will rise, being used approx 70-100 miles a day)
Full Dealer History until 85k, Receipts for services and parts since.
Lots of old MOT certificates
Electric Windows
Electric Heated Mirrors
Air Conditioning (works perfect)
Car had a few modifications on it when purchased which I removed for standard items (Trust Exhaust, Gruppe M, Evo 8 wheels) all the mods have been sold before anybody asks for them.
Only modifications that have been retained are the Eibach lowering springs and rear adjustable camber arms. I have front camber adjusting to supply with the car, they are not yet fitted. Tha car is also fitted with a set of wind deflectors
Exterior of the car is very good for age. Has a few stone chips on front bumper and bonnet as to be expected, the drivers side skirt has a scratch which has been touched up but isn't overly bad, and the headlights could do with a buff as are slightly faded/misty looking. The wheels have a couple of marks but nothing unpleasing to the eye. The colour isn't my favourite for an EP3, but when cleaned up and sunlight is hitting it, it's a very nice shade and have grown to like it a lot more.
Interior of the car is in excellent condition. No wear to seat bolsters at all, couple of pulls in the base of the rear bench from jeans buttons possibly, but otherwise very very good. Is fitted with a top spec Pioneer headunit with USB connectivity at present which I may retain and refit another decent spec headunit. this can be discussed closer to sale with potential buyer. I use my iphone with spotify all the time, it charges the phone and can control the music through the stereo. Also fitted with High end speakers front and rear with tweeters also fitted. Sound quality from the stereo is excellent
Mechanically the car is excellent. The car drives superb, very very quiet with only noise being from the road noise of the Bridgestone potenzas which is a common thing on the EP3. Makes it sound like a wheel bearing is on its way out when it's actually the noise of the tyres. Only noticeable around 70mph plus, so shouldn't be an issue. No knocks or bangs from suspension, handles excellent, makes all the right noises from the engine, uses no oil or water at all. Really reliable motor, which I require for the mileage I do. Clutch and gear changes are excellent - suspect the clutch has been replaced at some point and sure there is a receipt for one there. Doesn't crunch into any gear or have any difficulty. The car drives better than my fiancées EP3 which has done 82k miles.
It went through its MOT last week and passed no issues with zero advisories. MOT expires in September 2014, and tax until end of the year.
