Hey folks, ive got a 97 Ek4 vti

mods are as follows...

Exterior:
16" Rota GT3's wrapped in Toyo T1-R's
Muteki Black Open Ended Lug Nuts (Locking)
Resprayed front bumper with no. plate holes filled
Funky Power EK9 Colour Coded Grill (the best replica)
Honda Access OEM JDM Wind Deflectors
Honda Access OEM JDM SiR Lip
Honda Access OEM Rear Splash Guards
EK9 Rear Badge
Debaged Rear

Engine/Chassis:
FK Highsport Coilovers
Skunk2 Front Camber Kit
HKS Panel Filter (new one just fitted)
Full Mongoose Stainless Exhaust System (decat)
Mintex Pads
Buddyclub Shortshifter (with new energy bushings)

Interior:
Spoon Sports Shifter
EK9 Front Mats

next thing im looking at getting is a new honda gasket (between the manifold and the engine block) and a polished GReddy manifold, priced at around £315

Would i feel a substantial difference in acceleration and bhp? i know it could well only be around 5-10 bhp but i hear it feels more due to better throttle response.

The only ones that have been provenly popular are 5zigen(budget) and TODA($$$).

NO! Greddy manifold is JUNK! even though they are advertised as SS they still rust and corrode very quickly and the collector is 2.25", garbage manifold. But you are on the right track on using an OEM exhuast manifold gasket.

5zigen is a really good one to go for and its very cheap.remrmber and get the 2.50

I've also seen tests with SPOON headers doing very well and some tests doing not so well. But for the price... Just get TODA.
